Returns and Exchanges

All our products are made to order just for you. This means we don't hold any stock except for raw materials.

Cancellations:

If you wish to cancel an order for any reason we need to be notified within 24 hours of the order being placed. After this time-period, the production will have started and the order can no longer be canceled.

Returns because of change of mind:

All standard products may be exchanged for another product or store credit if we are notified about the issue within 14 days of arrival. It is important that the item remains unused, still has the original hang tags attached, and is shipped back in its original packaging. Postage is paid by you.

Free returns of faulty or incorrect products:
If on arrival the product is damaged, faulty or not the product you ordered, notify us immediately. You can return it within 14 days of receiving it for an exchange or refund. Postage is paid by us.

NOTE: Sample sale, customized or bespoke items cannot be exchanged or returned unless the product is defect.

Lifelong repair warranty
At Karu Atelier we believe, that if you treat it right, a quality leather item should last a lifetime. We repair the stitching and hardware on your product free of charge. Read more about this on our Lifelong warranty page.

Lost Packages
In the case of a misplaced or lost package in the care of our chosen carrier, you are entitled to store credit for the full value of the lost items.

If a package is lost, we will start an investigation with the carrier. Once the carrier has marked the package as lost, you will receive a voucher for the purchase amount in your email.
